Work Smart
MARCH GENERAL MEETING AND EQUAL PAY DINNER CANCELLED
We want to keep our members healthy so we are canceling the March General Meeting and Equal Pay Day dinner the end of the month. At this time, we are planning on having our April meetings.
STEM Like a Girl
AAUW Tyler partners with Discovery Science Place on February 22, 2020 for the “STEM Like a Girl” program. Up to 60 middle school aged girls attend this event, free of charge. They interact with female professionals in the STEM fields and conduct hands on activities related to each area.
How can you help? We need 6-8 volunteers for the day of the event from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Volunteers assist with registration, meal set up and helping guide the hands on activities. This is an easy volunteer event and it is rewarding to watch the girls engaged in STEM.

EVENING BOOK CLUB
Evening Book Club usually meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7 p.m.

Board Games Interest Group
Our next outing of the Board Games Group is on Tuesday, September 10th at Boards & Bites located in the Green Acres Shopping Center (next to Dollar General). We’ll start at 6:30. $15.00 total cost for our group lets us play games as long as we want. Boards & Bites has hundreds of games to choose from for all ages and interests. They have sandwiches and other food to order if you haven’t had a chance to eat dinner before coming out. Cost of game playing is determined by number attending. Cost of food/beverage is on your own.
Our group meets every other month on the second Tuesday..

DAYTIME BOOK CLUB
